Doctor / The Founder

I was born and raised in Taiwan. At 19, my parents sponsored me to pursue my dream of becoming a dentist in the U.S. I thrive on challenges and love helping people, which brings me joy. I enjoy beautiful things, whether natural or man-made. I love watching action movies, and the Mission Impossible series starring Tom Cruise is my favorite. Dentistry has been my dream job since I was 15, and it has become even more fascinating with digital technologies. Our great team at iSmile Dental makes my work exciting and fulfilling.

Dr. Thomas Rouse

Associate Dentist

I was raised in Indianapolis, IN, and moved to Columbus in 2013 to attend The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. I moved to New York City to further my education by completing a General Practice Residency program in New York City at Harlem Hospital Center. I moved back to Columbus shortly after completing the residency program. Dentistry is the perfect union of science and art. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy walking my dogs, spending time with my nieces and nephews, and playing volleyball with friends.

Office Manager

I’m Mynde, the office Manager! Known as Moona to my grandkids- loves spending time with family, friends and my growing crew of grands. A big fan of beach days and good company, I try and bring the same warmth and positive energy to work. I love collaborating with my co workers to create a welcoming and inviting environment.

Kiersten

Dental Hygienist

My name is Kiersten and I am a dental hygienist with iSmile Dental Group - West! I have been a practicing dental hygienist since I graduated from Youngstown State University in 2019, in addition to being a clinical instructor with Columbus State Community College since 2023! Before I was a hygienist, I worked with the US Navy SCUBA diving and training marine mammals for harbor security with my education from Ohio State University! Outside of work, my passions are spending time with my husband and family & friends! I enjoy staying physically active and spend time at the gym doing various forms of fitness, with strength training being my favorite! Luckily I like to workout because my other hobbies include cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants! Although I do not currently have a pet, I love dogs and all animals! I look forward to being part of the iSmile team and working with Dr. Peng and Dr. Rouse!

I am a registered dental hygienist. I graduated from Rhodes State College in 2022. I pursued a profession in dental hygiene because I am passionate about helping people feel confident in their smile. Outside of work, I’m happiest spending time with my cat, getting lost in a good book, staying active, and exploring new places whenever I can.

Dr. Peng is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry in Columbus since 1992. Dr. Peng has amassed over 2,000 hours in continuing education, enabling her to stay atop modern dentistry.
Dr. Peng is most proud of being a member of the world-renowned International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). The ICOI is the world's largest dental implant organization. Dr. Peng also has a fellowship from the prestigious California Implant Institute.
